At Silver Bridge School we recognise that emotional wellbeing is an essential pre-requisite for success, positive behaviour and good mental health. We work collectively and proactively to build our students self-image, self-esteem and sense of belonging.
We aim to equip our students with the skills and confidence in education, home, and in their chosen career paths.
The school environment is designed to be a calming environment with small class sizes and students are supported on an average 1:3 teacher/TA ratio.
Each student is supported by the Wellbeing Team, which consists of wellbeing coordinator, behaviour specialist, clinical psychologist and numerous therapy resources. The team support students, train and mentor staff and ensure the programme of delivery is therapeutically informed.
Additionally, each student has access to a curriculum coordinator, who will quality assure their curriculum, progress and become a single point of access for parents/carers and all stakeholders.
